GoExtend Pharma is a business tool that helps pharmacies manage billing, inventory and reports. This policy explains what information we collect from pharmacy businesses and their staff users, and how we use and protect it.
Who we are
GoExtend Pharma (“GoExtend”, “we”, “us”) provides pharmacy-management software on Android and the web. We are a business-to-business service: our customers are pharmacy owners and the staff they authorise. We do not sell or dispense medicines to consumers, and we do not provide medical advice.

Information we collect
- Account details — name, phone number, email, and role (owner, manager, staff) of the people who use the app.
- Pharmacy & business data — your pharmacy name, inventory, suppliers, sales, expenses, customer dues and other records you enter to run your shop.
- Prescription images — photos you choose to scan are processed to extract medicine text (OCR). These may contain health-related information.
- Photos & camera — used for barcode scanning and prescription/stock capture, only when you take an action that needs it.
- Device & diagnostic data — app activity, crash logs, device identifiers and approximate technical data used to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use your information
- To provide, sync and back up the service across your devices.
- To verify your phone number with a one-time SMS code (OTP) and secure your account at sign-up and login.
- To process subscriptions and confirm payments.
- To provide onboarding, training and customer support.
- To detect, prevent and fix errors, fraud and security issues.
- To improve features and reliability.
Sharing & service providers
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use trusted service providers (processors) who handle data only on our instructions to operate the service:
- Payments — to confirm bKash / manual subscription payments.
- AI prescription scanning — Google (Gemini) to extract text from prescription images.
- AI assistance features — Anthropic, for in-app AI features.
- Error monitoring — Sentry, for crash and diagnostic reports.
- SMS — our SMS provider, to send one-time passwords (OTP) that verify your phone number at sign-up and to deliver notifications you request.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (see below). Some records may be retained where required for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and backed up securely in the cloud. Access is restricted by role and protected by authentication controls.

Children
The service is intended for pharmacy businesses and adults. It is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
